Norwich Castle Lecture Theatre

A flexible lecture theatre AV system
built for events

presentations and live web broadcast

The lecture theatre has been designed to be as technically flexible as possible while still remaining simple and straightforward to use. With a large screen and projector alongside a web broadcast camera, the space can support everything from film screenings to live streamed events and broadcast sessions with organisations such as the British Museum.

A comprehensive sound system, touchscreen controls, audio mixer, multiple microphones and built-in PC are all managed from the height-adjustable podium, giving presenters a practical and professional setup for a wide range of uses.

Theatre with Projector and Interactive Web Camera

An intelligent PTZ camera system that helps events, lectures and broadcasts feel more polished and responsive

Looking back towards the main seating area, this view shows the projector, stage and event lighting, along with the dynamic interactive web camera. This high-quality PTZ camera can be directed manually as needed, but can also respond automatically to sound, turning to face the active speaker and helping deliver a more effective live broadcast or recorded event.

A digital device screen displays options for connecting to different media sources including Lectern PC, Desk HDMI, DVD, Chromecast, and Apple TV. The device is placed on a wooden desk with a piece of paper and a pen nearby.

Touch Control Interface

Simple touch-screen control that keeps day-to-day AV operation quick and straightforward

System power, source selection and volume are all managed through this AMX touch screen interface, giving users a simple and reliable way to control the room without unnecessary complexity.

With key settings adjustable at the touch of a button, presenters stay in control throughout the event. A touchscreen monitor provides easy access to the built-in PC, while radio microphones, receivers and the audio mixer are all arranged for straightforward control of sound levels during lectures, presentations and broadcasts.
