George & Dragon

A flexible community pub AV system built for food, sport, events and year-round trading

look sharper and create stronger customer experiences

Located in Thames Ditton near Hampton Court, The George & Dragon is a true community pub with broad appeal, balancing televised sport, good food and a varied programme of local events. The AV system was designed to support that flexibility, built around a carefully planned sound system with selected speakers and amplification that can deliver both smooth background audio and higher levels when needed. TVs are positioned throughout the building, inside and out, as well as in the adjacent barn, with an outdoor screen housed in a heated and cooled weatherproof case.

All displays are connected through a 4K UHD matrix system controlled by phone app, allowing different content to be shown across the site as required. The result is a rugged, easy-to-use and highly adaptable pub AV system.

Dining Room to Sports Cinema

A flexible AV setup that helps the venue switch from dining space to sports viewing in minutes

Move the tables, rearrange the seating and the space can shift from dining room to sports cinema in minutes, giving the venue far more flexibility for different types of trade and customer experience.

Outdoor Screen Housing

A secure all-weather outdoor screen system built for reliable year-round use

This high-brightness external screen is fitted within a secure, weatherproof housing designed for year-round use. The enclosure helps protect the system in all seasons, keeping the screen warm in winter and cool in summer so it remains reliable in an outdoor hospitality setting.

TVs in All the Right Places

Carefully placed screens that stay useful, visible and in keeping with the space

TVs are positioned throughout the pub and outside, with each location chosen carefully so screens are visible when needed but do not dominate the space when they are not the focus. The result is a system that supports sport and events without taking over the venue.
