Corpusty Village Hall, Norfolk

A cinema system that turned a low ceiling into an opportunity, not a limitation

create stronger USer experiences

Corpusty Village Hall first got in touch expecting us to confirm that a cinema system would not work because the ceiling was too low. The ceiling is low, but once we visited and looked at how the hall was actually used, it became clear that installing a system would make better use of the space, not less. The only extra requirement was a simple protective case for the projector.

Since installation, the system has had a major impact on village life, making film nights, events, quizzes and dances possible in ways they were not before.

Protecting the Projector

A simple projector protection solution that unlocked far better use of the hall

With the ceiling height relatively low, the practical solution was to protect the projector inside a steel case, removing the risk without losing the benefit of the system. In a hall where activities such as badminton are not possible anyway, making full use of the space for films, events and community gatherings is a far better fit for how the building can be used.

Keeping Everything Secure

Streaming and Gaming

Connected village hall AV that supports streaming, gaming and broader community use

With a good internet connection, a village hall AV system can open the door to far more than films and presentations. Streaming through a Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick is an obvious benefit, but gaming is another exciting opportunity, especially for halls looking to stay relevant to younger people and create new types of community activity.
