Mrs and Mrs Pawson had an underused room that was perfect for a home cinema. After a visit to our showroom and subsequent discussion, the BSC team designed a solution specific to the demands of the clients and the room.

A fixed 8ft wide Vutec cinema screen, combined with an HD-ready Sharp projector was implemented for the picture.

To provide audio and visual media, a Linn 5 channel amplifier and DVD player was linked to a 5.1 Mordaunt Short surround sound system. This means 5 speakers (centre, left and right front and rear) with a dedicated sub-woofer, which creates a fantastic sound to complement the fine quality of the picture.

To complete the room with ambient lighting, we specified a 'Zen' in wall unit and halogen down lighters. This can be programmed to 6 alternative settings, controllable either by remote control or selecting the preferred zone at the Zen unit - lighting then fades to the selected option.
