The Vauxhall recreation club is a large social club and sports centre, originally part of the nearby car production works but now running independently. The bars were to be completely refurbished and we were asked to design a system to supply:

A giant screen for viewing sporting events

Plasma screens for continuous background visuals

A high quality sound system for both discreet and high volume music

A CCTV system for security

To satisfy these requirements we implemented an 8ft electric screen and high-powered projector, as well as three 50” HD Ready plasma screens. To complement this we placed a range of speakers around the room, with 3 amplifiers, so volumes could be altered in the various areas.

For security, a number of colour dome and standard CCTV cameras were linked to a hard drive for easy recording and viewing.
